FaceTite and BodyTite Treatments

Are you looking for an effective way to remove stubborn fat and tighten your skin? If you are not keen on invasive surgery with extensive downtime and the possibility of scarring, there is another way to approach face and body lifting. At Legacy Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics in Exton, PA, we are proud to offer BodyTite™ and FaceTite™ treatments. We can work with you to find the best way to get rid of persistent fat on your body and face. Read on to find out more about FaceTite and BodyTite, and how they can benefit you.

Beat Stubborn Fat with BodyTite and FaceTite

FaceTite and BodyTite use bipolar radio-frequency technology to target and destroy fats while stimulating the production of collagen. Collagen is responsible for maintaining the elasticity of your skin. This can help to tighten and smooth your skin. These procedures can target:

  • Thighs
  • Back
  • Stomach
  • Chest
  • Neck
  • Face
  • Upper Arms

FaceTite

FaceTite uses state-of-the-art contouring technology to reduce fat cells and increase collagen production in your face and small parts of your body. This treatment is minimally invasive and ideal if you are not ready to commit to a facelift. FaceTite works in the subdermal plan to contract and contour your tissue.

Since your skin tightens with thermal energy, this treatment is highly effective at restoring a smooth and youthful appearance to your face as it heats your fat and skin tissue. Thermal energy destroys your fat cells since fat is more susceptible to heat than skin. In addition, FaceTite treatments also boost your ability to heal, which stimulates the production of elastin and collagen. This provides a natural way for your face to lift and look rejuvenated.

What Can FaceTite Treat?

As you age, you may have sagging jowls and a double chin. FaceTite is perfect to address these skin concerns without using invasive surgery. FaceTite is also used to treat the following skin concerns:

Lowered eyebrows

Drooping eyelids

Nasolabial folds

Cheeks

Neck

It is always best to discuss your facial goals with us before we start the procedure so we can provide the best treatment plan.

The FaceTite Procedure

Before beginning the procedure, we will use a local anesthetic to eliminate any pain or discomfort during the treatment. Then we will make a tiny incision to reach the desired area. The FaceTite device is inserted into the small incision to transmit RF waves to the subcutaneous tissue under your skin. This is where fat and collagen are stored.

Another probe is positioned above your skin to deliver energy to the probe in your skin. A tube is used to remove any excess fat melted by thermal energy. We use special machines to monitor the heat so we can provide safe and effective results.

FaceTite Recovery

You may need to wear a compression garment for up to 72 hours after your treatment session to ensure a speedy and successful recovery. We will change your dressing when you come back for a follow-up appointment the next day. It takes time for your body to produce collagen, so you will notice gradual results. It may take a few weeks or months for the final results to be visible.

BodyTite

BodyTite, like FaceTite, is also a minimally invasive way to contour your body and help you achieve your aesthetic goals. BodyTite also uses radiofrequency technology to stimulate the production of collagen and reduce fat cells.

BodyTite transmits thermal energy to the layers beneath your skin that are responsible for storing fat and collagen. During the procedure, your fat cells melt while your skin tissue contracts. The treatment also accelerates your body’s healing ability, and this stimulates the production of collagen and elastin.

What Can BodyTite Treat?

You can use BodyTite to treat various areas that have loose skin as a result of aging or weight loss. The following areas can be treated:

Abdomen

Back and bra fat

Chest

Upper arms

Love handles

Breasts

Thighs

Buttock creases

The BodyTite Procedure

BodyTite can be compared to liposuction and requires a professional plastic surgeon to carry out the procedure. We will use a combination of epinephrine and anesthetic to prevent pain and discomfort during the treatment.

Much like the FaceTite procedure, the BodyTite device uses two probes to transmit the radiofrequency. We will make a small incision in the area you want to be treated and insert one probe into the subcutaneous tissue under your skin while the other probe stays outside your skin.

RF waves travel between the two probes to send thermal energy to the targeted fat cells. The heat will destroy your fat cells and cause your skin to tighten and contract. Once this step is complete, we will insert a tube so that it can remove the excess fat cells. The time it takes for us to complete a BodyTite treatment depends on the size of the area we work with. Since this treatment is minimally invasive, you can return home right after the procedure.

BodyTite Recovery

Fortunately, we do not need to use sutures because the incision is so small. Therefore, the recovery time is quick and simple. You can even return to work or other daily activities about three days after the treatment. We will recommend a compression garment to ensure speedy healing.
