Traditional fractional lasers deliver energy in straight cylinders. To reach the deeper, collagen-producing layers of skin, the beam must first strike the top layer at maximum intensity, burning or ablating the surface.
AVAVA works differently. It uses a unique conical, ring-shaped laser beam that spreads energy over a wider area as it enters the skin, reducing damage to the epidermis, then narrows just below the surface and deep into the dermis.
In short, the laser’s maximum energy hits the exact layer beneath the epidermis where collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid are produced, without blasting or damaging the surface.
